Education

CSSIP's Education Program addresses one of the CRC's core functions. Its objectives are to:

  • Redress the national shortage of postgraduates in signal and information processing,
  • Transfer technology by involving research students in projects with commercial outcomes
  • Deliver innovative training and education courses to research and commercial communities

The following parts of the program have been taken over by NICTA:

Short Courses
CSSIP conducts a short course program with participants mainly from industry and DSTO. Technical course presenters are internationally renowned experts in their field. Courses are held across Australia and other locations nationally and internationally.

Seminars

Customised Training
Customised training courses tailored to the needs of individual organisations are delivered in any location as well as the training facilities at CSSIP headquarters in Mawson Lakes, South Australia.

The Online Masters Program has been taken over by The University of Adelaide:
The Master of Mathematical Sciences (Signal and Information Processing) through The University of Adelaide is offered on-line, giving access from anywhere in the world focussing on telecommunications and signal processing.
